Vintage Blue Nordic design gravy boat, made by J&G Meakin Ltd.
Capacity a little over 350ml.
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

The history of J & G Meakin Ltd can the traced back to the 1850s with the manufacturer of earthenware at the Eagle Pottery, and the company remained in the Meakin family up until 1968. Meakin and Midwinter Potteries subsequently merged and the combined company became part of the Wedgwood Group in 1970. In the 19th century it was known for the production of ironstone pottery for the domestic market as well as for export to the United States and Australasia.
