Description
This is a rarely available 55 piece vintage antique dinner set made in the 1940's.
It has been used only 10 times and was originally an 8 person set albeit 1 cup and 1 tea plate has broken over the years. The price has been reduced to take account of this.
The set is in great condition for its age, no cracks or chips in the 55 pieces available and has been in a box for many years in our loft so needs a good clean. It consists of;
7 cups
8 saucers
7 tea plates
8 large soup bowls
8 dessert bowls
8 dinner plates
3 serving plates of different sizes
1 serving terrine with lid
1 oval veg serving dish
1 gravy boat with fixed base
1 teapot with lid
1 milk jug
1 sugar bowl with lid
This dinner set is made from bone china and was made by Sunny China in the 1940's. The dinner set is white with a cherry / burgundy outer band with an elegant and intricate gold filigree floral pattern.
