Beautiful bluish toned matcha bowl I bought when I visited Uji (one of the well known good matcha sources in Kyoto, Japan) but I bought too many that just ended up not using this one as frequently as the others. Very limited uses probably 2-3 times since I bought it last November.
It’s got matte finish with some glossy pattern to make it more interesting. From my personal experience whisking matcha in this bowl, it’s got plenty of space to whisk back and forth (Z motion) due to its wider diameter. With its matte finish, this helps with handling because it’s less slippery.
