Portmeirion Pottery White Chicken Size 1 Casserole Dish/Egg Store in very good condition.
No chips or cracks.
Portmeirion chickens are instantly recognisable by the little chicks under the wings.
Starting in 1963, by 1968 Portmeirion had five sizes of chicken from the largest size 1 down to the smallest size 5.
This is size 1 - the largest one
By the 1970's the chickens were available in matt and gloss white, green, blue and brown.
