Description
Vintage (originally bought in 1981 - one owner) dining table with 10 Rattan chairs by Marcel Breuer for Habitat.
The table is in light oak, seats 10-12 and has been extended with the original extended table still intact below.(The original table seats 6). The table is sturdy (simple sliding/hinged leat mechanism on the original table). It has been covered with a lovely, modern light oak top. The frame of the table comes with sturdy, chromed legs which are removable. Length 3m; width 1m; height 750cm.
Included are a set of Marcel Breuer Cesca chairs (Italian) with chrome frame and rattan seat/back. The chairs were bought with the original table and consist of two carvers and 4 square-back framed. All chairs fit in well with the table.
All chrome in this dining set is free from pitting.
This has been a much-loved table and chairs, accommodating friends and family, for meals and entertaining. All in very good condition. Collection only.
