Vintage Cesca Style Chair Cantilever Armchair Woven Cane After Marcel Breuer
This lovely vintage armchair has a great look and is made in Italy according to the sticker - it is ready for use. It is in the style of the very popular Cesca chairs by Marcel Breuer, but is a later reproduction. The frame is tubular and made from chrome, the backrest and seat are webbed in cane, and the arms and seat are made of black painted wood. There is some wear to the finish on the caning and some minor breaks, however it is solid. There are some signs of age and use, including some marks and light scratches in places, please see photos for full condition.
Approximate measurements are 32 ¾” (83cm) tall, 25” (63.5cm) wide and 21 ¾” (55cm) deep, with a seat height of 18 ⅛” (46cm) and seat depth of 16 ½” (42cm).
