Description
Renowned Danish designer, Ib Kofod Larsen, collaborated with British furniture maker, G Plan in the 1960s, producing the ‘Danish’ range for them. This set of teak dining chairs hails from this period. His designs for G Plan have stood the test of time and are still highly-prized today. This particular chair model went on to have a curved upholstered back rest, more commonly seen, but we love this earlier version with its slightly winged top corners. The black leatherette seat pads are all original and in great order with much left to give. They are a beautifully designed and well-crafted set where consideration has been given to every aspect of their use from the generous width of the seat to how they look from the back when tucked in around the table.
A stunning set of chairs, they would make a great addition to any vintage/mid-century inspired interior.
