Solid Light Oak Extending Table and Six Chairs
Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire
£600
Description
Our dining room set has hardly been used! We bought a set too big for our dining room.
It was from Oak Furniture Land about 10 years ago. I carefully rubbed beeswax into every orafice when new.
It's made of solid oak and in perfect condition. Of course, it's a heavy table but it will last your lifetime.
The main table is 140cm long by 90cm deep. The top surface is 78cm high and the legroom 63cm.
It extends at both ends. So with one extension it is 180cm and with both it is 220cm long.
It comes with six chairs (all the same). They have padded seats and oak backs. The oak back has a lumbar support via profiled wood.
This set has probably used no more than 10 times in ten years and has been meticulously cared for and is in as-good-as-new condition.
The light oak colour is modern and easy on the eye and should complement any dining room.
It is perfect for a family of up to six (but we have had eight around it at Christmas). So it is perfect for family meals or entertaining guests.
Currently, at Oak Furniture Land, you'd pay at least £1300 for this set (have a look!). We are happy to accept less than half that amount, so for £600 you can grab yourselves a 'like new' dining table set bargain.
We can't transport, so collection is up to you. From memory, I believe the legs can be unscrewed which I'd be happy to help with.
All questions welcome. We live in Royal Wootton Bassett.
