Mid-century G Plan Tola drop leaf Librenza table & 4 red Butterfly chairs 50/60s

G-Plan Tola drop leaf table with black legs on brass feet from the Librenza range (108x138cm).

G-Plan Butterfly chairs x4. Solid black legs with original deep red fabric (velvet/chenille) seats.

From 1950s to mid 1960s G-Plan furniture (made by E Gomme) was embossed with a gold stamp as shown here. During the second half of the 1960s, G-Plan adopted a stick-on red label.

This table and chairs are in AMAZING condition for their age and I’d doubt you’d find any better! Others are for sale (see final pucs) but not in as good condition and almost twice the price of the set I'm selling! I've looked really hard to list all signs of wear and tear and can see only two minor slight scratches and one spot of discolouration to the table top plus two tiny flecks of veneer that have been reattached - see final pics shown with a 10p coin for reference. The chairs are as near to immaculate as you will find for chairs of this age and all in original fabric.
