Posting for 1+ yearsGorgeous Farmhouse Style Dining Table and Bench
Meadows, Edinburgh
£190
Description
As we're moving house, we're selling these lovely pieces.
The farmhouse-style table is very solid, stable, and large, while still looking quite light and classy, so it won't feel like a massive piece of furniture taking over your living/dining room. It could seat 10, but we only used it to seat 8 or 9. It definitely feels like a table that can survive generations.
The bench is a SKOGSTA Bench from Ikea, which seats 3 (hence the 8 or 9 seats at the table rather than 10). It looks great, feels solid, and fits very well with the table!
Unfortunately, Ikea no longer sells the bench we got in the UK, but there are other similar benches available for a lot less than what we paid for this one! The colour/type of wood is acacia, but pine works quite nicely as well. However, we simply used ikea chairs in the same colour at the other side of the table and at the head, which is great as you can fit more people that way.
We've taken the chairs with us to the new place, but as we're downsizing, the table and the bench no longer fit. So, pick it up for a fraction we got it for only 4.5 years ago!
Apologies for the messy pictures - we're in the middle of a move.
Pick up is in Newington (EH9 1QR).
You can contact me on whatsapp, via text, or via email. If you'd like to call me, please only call after 3pm as I won't be able to pick up otherwise.
