Description
Two matching chairs, probably from a dining set (we don't know where the others went). They came to us from an elderly family connection, so are probably genuinely old and the style seems early 20C. The thin line of marquetry, which is hard to get in a photo, has missing pieces here and there, the wood is worn with slight chips and the seats are slightly stained. Even so, our visitors comment that these are lovely chairs.
