Description
4x VTG 1980 ALEX chairs Full Grain Saddle Leather Sand Enrico Pallizzoni RRP£4k
Selling a set of 4 original Cassina Cab ALEX chairs in full grain saddle leather. These are genuine custom made vintage designer pieces (see photo for brand and value – over $1000 each new but way more valuable than recently made!).
All 4 for £650 – priced to sell quickly. Serious offers only.
Located in Farnborough. Cash or bank transfer. No silly offers, please.
Here you have a set of four vintage 1980 Alex dining chairs by Enrico Pallizzoni. Made of full grain saddle leather in sand colour. The seat height is 46 cm, and each chair measures 40.5 cm in length, 38 cm in width, and 81 cm in height.
Condition
These are vintage and still in great condition, apart from leather cracking on the threads in a few places on one chair only (strong still and not going apart for at least 10 years, some glue residue, and some leather embossing on the seat, and one seat has a surface scratch. These are in their original used condition. Structually are very sound as these are metal chairs covered in saddle full grain leather including legs.
This set is different from the pictures as these are older versions of Alex. The backing design was changed to more modern (Alex 2.0). The ones I have are probably dated 1980.
This version was a custom design for Enrico Pellizzoni, so there is no logo on the chairs found, but the quality is authentic.
Colour is sand, not like beige. Camera changing according to lighting. See the pictures 2,3,4. Nr 5 picture is the Alex version with vintage circular backing , like in this listing.
