Description
Lovely 1960s tulip table designed by Maurice Burke for Arkana. Iconic design and a really sturdy and solid set, with steel base and white Formica table top. Also includes 6 matching chairs with star pedestal bases (4 chairs pictured but we have 2 more in storage in a similar condition). Chairs are steel bases with moulded fibreglass seats. All 6 chairs complete with foam seat pads in a lovely reddish/pink faux suede fabric, which washes easily and are in great condition for their age.
Very good vintage condition expected for age, with some light scuff marks and scratches as pictured. Not all chairs currently have functioning swivel mechanism (at least 3 do) but we’ve never tried to repair them, which may well be possible.

Really sad to be parting with this, which has made a fantastic and stylish family dining set, but it’s just too wide for our current space. Open to sensible offers.
