Description
Vintage mid- century “Magic Box” teak writing desk. I shall say , in the style of Mummenthaler & Meier, as I cannot find anything to confirm this. It’s a fantastic piece of clever engineering that includes a pull out desk with clever flaps either side to extend it. Under the desk is a huge pull out drawer. Under this is a large pull out tray! It even has the original working light. It’s in used condition so there are a few age related marks but it’s still usable as it is or would make for a great restoration project. There is a lock but no key and a hole where an aftermarket knob would have been. It’s made of teak so is very heavy.
