Customer Service Operations Assistant

Located in Bedford Full-Time, Office-Based Permanent Career Opportunity

£26,000 per annum + Benefits

Working for a well-established manufacturing business with a global customer base, known for delivering precision, quality, and service excellence. As part of our continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Operations Assistant to join a professional team in the Bedford office.

The Role

In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for an international client base, ensuring smooth order processing and timely communication. You will manage high-volume email correspondence via a centralised CRM system, providing accurate quotes and pricing, and supporting the wider operations team in delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately

• Manage global accounts and maintain strong client relationships

• Prepare and issue quotes and pricing information

• Respond to high-volume email enquiries via CRM system

Working confidently on MS Office – Outlook, Excel and Word

• Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and resolution

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Support continuous improvement in customer service processes

About You

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a calm, methodical approach to managing multiple priorities. Ideally, you will have worked in a customer service role within manufacturing or distribution and are confident handling international accounts

Skills required

• Proven experience in customer service within a manufacturing or

distribution setting

• Familiarity with CRM systems and order processing workflows

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• A collaborative mindset and professional approach
