Red Recruitment is recruiting a Collections Agent in Banbury to join our client, a premier contact centre outsourcing business, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their clients.

They are looking for a Collections Handler to join their team on a temporary basis. The hourly rate is £12.21 per hour and is an immediate start.

The role is fully remote.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Hours: Shift Patterns between Operational Hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm and Weekends 9am - 5pm

Contract Type: Temporary

Location: Fully Remote

Training and Development OpportunitiesKey Responsibilities of a Collections Handler:

Handling and resolving customer queries across multiple channels, including telephony and webchat, ensuring first contact resolution

Making phone calls, sending emails, or utilising other communication methods to reach customers with past due accounts

Assessing customer account details to understand the delinquency status and identify potential collection strategies

Negotiating payment plans with customers to recover outstanding balances in a timely manner

Addressing customer concerns and resolving billing disputes when necessaryKey Skills and Experience of a Collections Handler:

Previous Collections or debt management experience

Experience working within financial services, collections or retail finance would be beneficial

Excellent communication skills as you will be speaking to a range of people

Having an empathetic approach is required due to the nature of the calls
