Ebby turned up 1 hour and 15 minutes late
Ebby had been informed that there were 20 plus boxes of books, some small furniture and clothing to move. Ebby agreed a price before moving and cash on day. After loading was complete Ebby tried to shake me down for more money complaining about the weight, and effort involved. I gave him the agreed amount and an extra £20 I’d brought as a tip. He was clearly unhappy with this amount and when we got to drop off point I’d asked him to bring the items into the hall but please help me take 4 heavy items up to my flat as I could not carry alone. Ebby proceeded to throw all my items in the garden with no care. Stacking books on top of fragiles. And decided to dump a couple of empty boxes with me ‘to replace damaged boxes’ and left. Arrived on time punctually - went above and beyond assisting us with loading and unloading treating our items with care and making sure nothing gets damaged during the moving process. Was a pleasure working with him and he even offers a ride with the items and will keep you great company!
