With 30 years experience as a psychotherapist and as a relational or couples counsellor, I offer a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore whatever is bothering you, aided by creative methods and thinking. Working with me can lead to you feeling better, changing your behaviours & attitudes, managing or resolving your problems and developing resources for a more enriching life. In addition to you finding the courage to change in ways that suit your values and situation, clients often gain greater peace of mind and more satisfying relationships.
I offer face-to-face sessions (sat 2m apart in a well-insulated garden room), online or "walk and talk" sessions.

Relational and couples counselling can help you repair relationships blighted by vicious arguments, affairs and betrayals, mistrust, sexual issues, control, grief, boredom or a deadening growing apart. Working with me can set your relationship back on course for better, more fulfilling times; or it can ease the difficulties of a breakup.

If you are in a relationship on the brink of separation or divorce, where one partner is not sure if they want to work on the relationship, I offer short-term Discernment Counselling. This can help you both gain clarity on your next step.

Katrina was very helpful in supporting me to discuss some sexual difficulties. She was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and made me feel quickly at ease. Katrina helped me to explore my sexuality and the problems I was having in a sensitive, kind way. I feel better equipped going forward.

I was experiencing bad anxiety which resulted in a nasty period of insomnia where I was getting only a couple of hours sleep a night for over a week. Katrina was a true professional and provided me with some really helpful coping methods. I found speaking to her very therapeutic. My problems went away after a few sessions and I feel better equipped to deal with anxiety in future if any symptoms come back.

I got in touch with Katrina just a couple months ago and although we haven’t had many sessions she’s helped me a lot with anxiety, nightmares, difficulties on how to cope with day to day problems and also showed me a way to communicate my feelings and thoughts in a healthy and safe way. Things still get rough at times but Katrina has given me really helpful tools to deal with those bad times and encouraged me to be my true self and speak up. It’s been a very rewarding experience.
