Description
Catch 22 are currently working with an Education provider based in SW11 who are on the look out for an Experienced Maintenance Assistant
This is a permanent role– working Monday–Friday 9am–6pm 1 hr unpaid lunch (may be offered additional hours as paid overtime)
Salary– GBP32,000–GBP34,887 per annum
Key responsibilities;
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the school estate, including carpentry, decorating, plumbing, minor electrics, and small building works.
Plan, cost, and deliver minor refurbishment projects, sourcing materials at best value.
Monitor and maintain building fabric, drainage, heating, cooling, and other M&E systems; report and act on damage or faults.
Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain consumable stock levels and order supplies as needed.
Accurately log all tasks and updates on the Helpdesk system.
Respond to emergency repairs and be available for occasional callouts.
Ensure high standards of site cleanliness and safety at all times.
Support security and Gatehouse operations as required.
Provide weekly updates to the Deputy Estates Director, reporting on progress, issues, and upcoming tasks.
Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.
