Description
Maintenance Engineer Required. Temporary Contract.
My client is currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with experience of Planned & Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for holiday cover and emergency back–up for various static maintenance buildings in London.
Starting ASAP this role would suit someone who enjoys the variety contract work whilst working for an established operator. My client works for universities, hospitals, galleries and public institutions.
Key Requirements:
Relevant C&G/NVQ Level 3
Experience in a Facilities Management or Planned Maintenance
Strong Health & Safety awareness
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
Respond to equipment breakdowns and reactive work requests
Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections
Carry out repairs or arrange replacements as needed
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance
Ensure high standards of Health & Safety and client satisfaction
Skills & Personal Attributes:
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Strong problem–solving and planning skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Proactive and team–oriented approach
