GBP37,500 – GBP42,000 Starting Salary

We are currently recruiting for hybrid Clinical Assessors who would like a role that involves working from home and in the office with no weekends, bank holidays, or long shifts.

The Disability Assessor conducts independent assessments of individuals with health conditions or disabilities applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). The role requires producing comprehensive, evidence–based reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The assessor is not responsible for benefit entitlement decisions.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Role Overview:

Conduct Assessments: Evaluate claimants' health and/or work capabilities via phone and face–to–face assessments. Review Evidence: analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities. Compile Reports: Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Training Program:

Successful candidates will complete a 12–week comprehensive training program covering (amongst other things):

Assessment Techniques: Best practices for accurate evaluations. DWP Guidelines: Requirements and guidelines of the Department for Work and Pensions. Report Writing: Skills for detailed and objective reporting.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1–year post–registration recent experience in a relevant adult setting Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
