I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3–6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate (per day) which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for an Acquisition Manager this role will be Hybrid 1 day office based N22 7TY

The right candidate will:

To create, design, implement and deliver the strategy to ensure acquisition targets are met to ensure a supply of housing. To act as a first point of contact for all enquiries regarding property sales to the Council and to be responsible for initiating all contact with potential vendors. To act as a single point of contact to all potential vendors from initial enquiry through to post completion matters. To instruct valuation reports and any other technical property and other reports as necessary with third party providers and/ or internal technical departments. To be responsible for ensuring robust negotiations take place on all acquisitions to demonstrate value for money and financial viability to Haringey Council. To ensure all relevant and necessary paperwork and information is provided accurately and promptly to secure a sale subject to contract that meets all Council audit and governance requirements. We require the following:

Significant experience and track record of volume acquisition through direct negotiation of individual streets properties through open market sales Significant experience of successfully using market analysis data to identify and target specific sub markets to drive increase in acquisition volume to meet specific targets.
