Detective Comics #300 - Published February 1962

Batman and Robin confront a new costumed criminal in Gotham under the alias of Mr. Polka Dot who has started a crime wave based on spots and dots. To conceal his identity, Polka Dot wears a bizarre costume covered in spots. Each spot, once removed from the costume, can be used for a variety of purposes, creating deadly weapons and a bizarre escape vehicles. He succeeds in capturing Robin, but Batman discovers where Robin is held prisoner with a deft clue from Robin himself, and is able to save his crime fighting partner and bring Mister Polka-Dot's crime spree to an end.

This copy does not have a top staple (a rare production error) and cover is detached from bottom staple, see photos.

3.0 Grade - Books in this grade are almost always creased, scuffed, abraded and soiled, but readable. Large pieces can be missing from the cover. Long or many spine splits are possible. The cover and pages many be detached but not missing and is still in a "collectible" grade.
