For sale Cross Coffee Table designed in 2007 by Matthew Hilton for Case.

Matthew Hilton, is a renowned British designer with a career spanning over three decades, is celebrated for his dedication to craftsmanship and innovation. Born in 1957, British furniture designer Matthew Hilton has worked with many international furniture brands including Case Furniture, SCP, Authentics ,The Conran Shop and DE La Espada. Matthew Hilton believes in creating furniture that people live with, and his inspiration often comes from long-established furniture forms. Each piece reflects Hilton's meticulous attention to detail, with clean lines, thoughtful proportions, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Founder of his eponymously named studio in 2007, Hilton's designs grace the permanent collections of prestigious institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum and The Museum of the Home in London.

The table has an asymmetrical solid oak base gives this dining table its unique character. It has 10mm thick toughened glass top. The idiosyncratic base is constructed from two interlocking pieces lends the piece a sculptural feel.

This coffee table is in very condition with some light marks commensurate with age and use. There is few scratches to the glass top but it was impossible to capture them. It has been cleaned and waxed. Original label confirming authenticity is underneath the oak base.
