Description
A vintage Record No24 Vice (with quick release) for sale. I originally intended to paint it and use it however I ended up getting an even bigger vice in the end and I am struggling to justify having multiple vices.
5" jaws that open to almost 7"
It's in good working order, as per the photos it could benefit from a new coat of paint. Or you could leave it if you prefer the used look. The small blind hole is purely cosmetic and does not impede the function or strength of the vice. It can easily be filled over.
This is an early version of the vice made of solid cast iron (very heavy). This vice will easily last another lifetime, much better quality than most of the newer ones you can buy, including the Irwin re makes. (an equivalent costs upwards of £500!)
