Parkinson Vice No 6 Vintage / Steel / Made In England - Serviced / Working / VGC
Southsea, Hampshire
£75
Description
Parkinson Vice Model F No 6 Vintage / Steel / Made In England - Serviced / Working / VGC
Condition is used and refurbished. This vice clearly shows history, with many surface knocks and scrapes from industrial use. Also clearly noticeable is the addition of an ‘extra’ steel welding, that has (possibly) been used to reattach the front jaw (see images). No doubt that despite this, it is solid and totally usable. Quality that sits equally alongside that of Record vices.
Cosmetically: Stripped of paint, resprayed with Industrial grey primer. This ‘seals’ the surface and allows a buyer to choose colour of top coat, rub it back to steel, or leave ‘as is’. Maybe the odd fingerprint mark here and there due to the reassembly. See images.
Functionally: Working. Serviced; parts stripped, decreased and re-greased. Reassembled. Runs smooth.
Note: Please be sure to do research into your needs/spec/compatibility, so as not to be disappointed. This is a ‘no returns’ listing.
