As the Grand Daughters have got bigger and it's difficult to get two teenagers in the back of a 3 door C1, they have had to upgrade to a larger 5 door car. So its down to dad to sell the this one.

The car is the VT model which comes with ABS/ESP, Traction Control, Driver & Passenger Airbags, manual windows and locking (It has been fitted with aftermarket central locking ) and has rev counter/tacho, which I think was an optional extra.

Good Points
My son got the car in 2020 it’s in good mechanical condition and has been well maintained by me since they have owned it. It starts on the button and has been ultra reliable all the time they have owned it.

I’m an ex-mechanic and service it at least once a year. I fitted a new LUK uprated clutch (inc. changing gearbox oil), front discs/pads and lower arms in Oct 2023.

I have also just given the car a full service (all filters, spark plugs & oil) and have fitted new front brake pads and a new rear silencer. Following a couple of advisories on the MOT I replaced the rear brake shoes and had two new tyres fitted.

As there was an advisory on minor underbody corrosion/rust last year (common on these cars) so I cleaned and treated the underside of the car and all was good on the new MOT.

The car has the economical 3-cylinder Toyota engine fitted which is known for being ultra reliable, has no cam belt to worry about and gives 50+ MPG.

Euro 5 ULEZ Compliant and only £20 a year road tax.

Group 2 so cheap to insure and a great starter car for a new driver.

Not So Good Points
The car in good cosmetic condition for its age, it has the odd dink and dent and there is some very minor lacquer peel (common on red Citroen/Peugeot’s) which has been touched up.

The car is registered as a Cat N. The previous owner reversed into their garage with the drivers door open. The damage was minor and confined to the driver’s door (see picture from when I got the car in 2020). The door was replaced restoring the car to as original condition.
