Before being painted it has been sanded smooth to ensure a good surface for the new paint job.
Painted in this lovely shade of Whistler Grey by Annie Sloan then lightly distressed and waxed all over to to seal and protect.
The lid has been stained in a grey colour and again distressed to give it the aged look.
A very practical piece of furniture which could be used as a coffee table, somewhere to keep your shoes in the hallway or a blanket box?
