Antique sgabello hallway chair, carved wood. This type of chairs are usually Italian, XIX century, usually made of walnut - and it does look like walnut to my non-specialist eye.
It has an interesting carving reminding me of a green man :)
Pickup only from Bruntsfield EH10 4.
