REGHIN (Romania) Vintage 1/2 Size Cello
If you’re looking for a cello for a 7-10 year and would prefer a European one, this one may well fit the bill!
It’s a Reghin which is a city in Romania, long renowned as a centre for instrument manufacture. A "Reghin" instrument actually encompasses a number of businesses in the city, producing good quality instruments both at student and professional level.
This 1/2 cello was produced in 1980 and has probably been played quite a bit, but is still in very good shape. Structurally it’s very good and it has a de Jacques French adjustable bridge.
There are minor cosmetic signs of use but nothing which affects performance.
It’s a solid, reliable cello and is playing with good tone and sustain.
It comes with a bow, lightweight carrybag and rosin and is all ready for a new home.
