Renaissance started at a small venue called Venue 44 in the small mining town of Mansfield, Nottingham before quickly relocating to Nottingham City Centre to a massive disused cinema called “The Elite which eventually changed hands and became “Gatecrasher”. The club night was renowned for it,s glamorous lavish production values and quickly progressed to host many night,s in many of the UK,s superclubs expanding into Ibiza and then globally. This triple CD was mixed by house music legends Fathers Of Sound and comes in a three disc limited edition box set (see pics). This limited edition box set comes complete with four postcard type pictures featuring Renaissance artwork adding to the CD,s value. I purchased this CD from new and all discs have only been played by myself and all discs have been tested and play perfectly. This collection is highly collectable and a must for anyone wanting to build their collection and a take trip down memory lane to an era when clubbing was at it,s best.
