Every aspect of Mum's wake was handled with grace—from inspecting the hired room to ensuring everything was perfectly arranged for our family and guests. James went above and beyond to accommodate dietary needs, providing thoughtful options that made everyone feel considered. The afternoon tea was simply outstanding: beautifully presented, freshly made, and delicious. The cakes were a highlight, especially the gluten-free carrot cake, which was adored by all. That extra local touch of clotted cream added a comforting richness that felt like a warm embrace. What truly stood out was the unwavering attentiveness. Our pots of tea were always full, and nothing was too much trouble. We felt supported throughout, and the entire experience carried a sense of gentle respect and sincerity.
