Description
I have for sale a stunning vintage Readicut handmade latch hook rug dated from 1969. It was lovingly and laboriously created by a family member, blisters and all. The main colour is cream with a contrasting black edge and a collection of pink and blue flowers together with various green leaves. This mat was a treasured possession in the household and not walked on, so despite its age the natural wool pile is still quite a substantial thickness. The measurements are 68 centimetres wide and 130 centimetres long (27 x 51 inches). It has spent several years now in storage so would benefit from a delicate clean. A unique and beautiful piece of history for someone to treasure. It is perfect for any room, and I feel that it would certainly be eye-catching. Delivery or postage is possible for an extra charge.
