Description
Carer/PA needed for lady in her own home she is a full time electric wheelchair user with Cerebral palsy, a great personality fiercely independent and intelligent living life to the full with a daughter of keeping her busy and a pet cat.
Help is needed daily with hoisting, personal care and dressing. Housework is part of the job including washing, dishes, gardening ect, often there is outings shopping, out for coffee and lunch, and needs help getting to appointments like Doctors, Dentist and out with her daughter too. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and a happy family home.
Experience is not essential but helpful, full training will be given by and Staff And training from Portsmouth Council with certification.
Good communication is very important for as she has a speech impediment, and fluent in English is essential. Help is needed daily with hoisting, personal care and dressing.
Housework is part of the job including washing, dishes, gardening ect, often there is outings shopping, out for coffee and lunch.
Female carers only.
and afternoons 3.30pm till 9.30pm.
You will be working a mix of both shifts and very occasionally a double if needed for hospital
appointments ect. Weekends are part of the job on rota.
