Part-Time Companion Carer – 3 x 24hr Shifts (Rhyl Area) – £258/day

Description

We’re looking for a kind, reliable, and emotionally mature companion carer to support Kev, a 59-year-old man with cerebral palsy and partial sight. He’s gentle, funny, and loves music, theatre, and Everton FC.

No personal care required — support is needed with:

Cooking & meals
Shopping
Housekeeping
Attending activities, appointments, and social outings
Providing safe, consistent companionship

Role details:

3 x 24-hour shifts per week (10am–10am)
Preferred pattern: Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday
£258.30 per 24-hour shift
Must have a standard car (Kev cannot access vans or vehicles with steps)
Calm, respectful personality essential (ideally age 40+)

Live-in with rest periods and a sleep-in night rate. Overnight support is minimal.

This is a direct payment role — not agency-based. You’ll work privately with Kev’s family in a supportive, consistent setting. No shift-hopping or red tape — just the chance to build a meaningful connection with one person in a calm home environment.
