Teardrop caravan - good restoration project

We are reluctantly selling our lovely teardrop caravan. We have had some great adventures, but unfortunately it is desperately in need of some TLC, and we have to admit that we are not the people to provide it.

The caravan is built on top of a metal trailer base which is in good condition, however exposure to the elements has meant that the upper plywood structure has become damp, leading to bubbling of the outer paint in places, and some internal water damage. The hinges of the bottom half of the stable door have also rusted through, and realistically the whole of the door needs replacing. Please see pictures to get a full idea of the condition.

This would make a great restoration project for someone with the required time and skills, and the condition is reflected in the price.

We have attempted some repairs along the bottom edge, and have resprayed the underside with protective metal paint. We have also replaced the front wheel.

Internal electric lights which work if hooked up to tow bar, or on site electric hook-up. Comes with old but heavy duty wheel clamp.
