Description
Rav 4 T180 Bridgestone run flat inner support ring
If you have to use the run flats with a puncture Toyota will say the ring must be replaced as well as the tyre
Ring was around £180
Tyre £200+
So a puncture costs £380+ at worst
£180 + repair cost at best!
So 99.999% of people never see one of these
The rest never want to
But there you are, specifically, and only for, the Rav 4
Hence low volume, high price and Toyota have the monopoly on them.
I always carried a spare ring just in case
So all I would have to pay for was the puncture repair
Car sold now
Loved it to bits
So ring for sale
Buy it now at this price
When you really need to fit one youll have very few options
I only ever needed one once, when changing tyres and found one had been damaged
Someone had previously tried to remove the tyre without the special Bridgestone machine
Buckled support ring
Big shock
So carried one ever since.
This system never really took off, but it was reassuring to know, that if I had a puncture on the Mway, I could complete my journey, to airport or train station( and back home)
Tin of goooh, progress?
Good luck with that
If you can save this link for when you might need one, might be a good idea,or
Zero seven nine eight

If it's still available, when you need it
Enjoy that third gear
