Description
A 3-chip SXRD imaging system makes the VPL-HW40ES full HD Home theater ES projector from Sony ideal for application where picture quality is Paramount. With a low 1700 lumens brightness, this projector is all about strong contrast and strong color. This is further enhanced by SXRD chips, which outperform many competing DLP and LCD imaging system including comparable LCos imagers. Because it is designed with the potentially limited spaces of the home environment in mind- not to mention to enable rear projection- it features 1.6x optical zoom plus vertical and horizontal lens shift, giving it significant installation flexibility.
Full HD and 3D can be accommodated by the VPL-HW40ES, thanks to its two HDMI ports. In additions there is one VGA and one component video port for analog video devices and computers with along outputs. For sychronization with 3D glasses, there is a built-in IR sycemitter plus an RJ- 45 connector for plug an external sync devices (glasses and sychronizer available separately) for integration with automation system like Crestron, there is an RS-232S port, plus there is an IR port for using a separately available IR extender.
