Description
£6,500 ONO
VW LT35 campervan 2.5cc TDi Low diesel miles Manual MWB L2 H2
Fits in most driveways.
Drives beautifully and straight - without any wobbles, shudders or rattles. Excellent engine! 143000 miles.
Power steering.
Several keys.
Fresh 12 months MOT.
Fully serviced only about 600 miles ago.
No leaks. All very good tyres. Brake discs all good.
Mechanic inspection most welcome.
Registered as ‘Motor caravan’ (AKA motorhome).
Very well looked after and very little rust for year. Only 5 previous owners.
Very reluctant sale but life has changed for me. I’ve owned it for a few years but used it little as sadly just don’t have the time right now.
There is a wooden base under a seat that can be used between the two sofa cushions to make a large double.
Includes:
New YUASA battery with 5 years warranty
Leisure battery and 1000W inverter (both hardly used)
Showerroom (new fuse in toilet needed for flushing)
TV
Satellite
Radio
Oven grill
Tri power fridge
Gas hob (all working - see photo)
Gas bottle with gas in it (don’t know how much)
Hookup cables
Electric sockets
New CO2 detector
Spare toilet chems.
Kettle, pans, cutting boards, etc.
Engine battery isolator key (prevents using battery in error plus can’t be driven away by thief) and one for the leisure battery.
Removable table (see photos) which can neatly sit behind cab.
First Aid kit
Immersion
Newish fuse box and water pump (see photos).
Rear side windows and blinds all working as they should.
Storage:
Some under seats, wardrobe (with key) and extra cupboard under wardrobe, and cabinets higher upon both sides. All the storage doors close properly. Mirrored cabinet in showerrom.
Extra good points:
1. Insurance only cost me £175.
2. I can throw in 2 new thick memory foam mattresses if you want them (worth £300).
3. For MOT purposes, the V5 indicates the dry (unladen) weight low enough to be a Class 4 rather than a 7. No idea why but it’s a bonus and cheaper to MOT. :)
4. Picks up amazing speed!
5. Took it down to beyond Carlisle and back - cost only about £50 in fuel return.
6. Instructions for electrics and fuses.
Bad points:
1. The back doors can be opened if you really need to but I can’t do it. The previous owner showed me the trick but maybe I’m not strong enough. Not needed for MOT in case you’re worried about that.
2. MOT shows bonnet opener (inside footwell) broken - it’s actually new but garage sort of broke it - IT STILL WORKS thankfully. :)
3. It’s dated being a 2003.
First to see will buy! Sorry no swaps or tyre-kicking time-wasters. Thanks.
