Description

T25/T3 high top campervan converted from transporter. 1987. 1.9 petrol water cooled. Mileage states about 163000 but due to recon engine 5 years ago by Bedrock Dubs is more like 20,000. Had new metalwork from waist down in past 10 yrs plus specialist 1986 Cherry paint (polished up lovely this week) and cherry decals added inside and out, new clutch, roof skylight, curtains, eyelashes on the headlights, window winders, vinyl black with red stitching door panels, baby moon hubcaps, vinyl flooring, new headliner fabric, new petrol tank and fuel pipes, reconditioned engine in past 5 yr, Carburettor, starter motor, and ignition parts and lots of other pipes and parts replaced in 2023-24 as they aged. I have receipts with details for all replacements. Also in past 10 years entirely new interior including Bromsgrove auto vinyl and tweed seat covers and all foam replaced, all new by Volksmagic (see carSOS) grey/brown wood laminate cupboards, sink and tap wired to water container, 2 burner cooker, 2way fridge, hook up, electrics, fuse box, supercharger for when hooked up, car and leisure battery, seats belts in Cherry colour, led lights throughout and angleable spotlights, usb chargers, sockets and battery check system, bespoke cherry sparkle worktop, rock and roll bed, under bed storage compartment, shelves and net equipment holders in water cupboard, multiple cupboards and cubbies, buddy box to fit portaloo or more storage, secret panel in wardrobe floor for phones and valuables, locked in secure gas cupboard and space for bottles, all new cupboard buttons and light switches, VW badge feature side window as per Volksmagic. Passed MOT no issues in May 2025 and has been driving really well. Likes being driven so needs more of a foot down to start if been sitting for a few weeks. Next major work needed is probably the hardtop roof which could be replaced with pop top if desired. It is watertight though so not urgent and the top means a lot of great extra storage and no need to duck inside even if 6’3’’. Some of the locks are a bit stiff. Boot lock might need rubber surround replacing to make easier to open. Petrol, takes E5 which is usually super unleaded these days unless in the highlands. Do not use the now standard unleaded as that is E10 and won’t work. Will be road tax exempt in 2 yrs. Insurance through specialist for converted classics is usually about £240/yr. was valued at £14,500 3 years ago but on for lower price due to a bit of fade in the paintwork needing polish and general wear and ageing. Will throw in 2 bike rack, windscreen sleep cover, side canopy, inner window shields, gas canister nearly full, Haynes manual, and some spare oil. Reduced price as may need to attend to some ageing wear and tear e.g., rear lock as mentioned. Sold as seen.
