Description
We recently took this camper van conversion in part exchange from a local customer. It is a long wheel base VW LT35 with a fixed rear bed and garage space. The van has a long MOT until Jul 26 and mechanically is perfect with no warning lights. This is a bulletproof 2.8L diesel engine, made in 1999 when vans were made to last without constant DPF, turbo, injector, sensor and electrical problems that vans suffer from today. As you can see from photos and video attached, the back of it is a project: you may renovate it or strip it completely. The electrics seem to switch on but they are untested and sold as such. It is HPI clear, the last owned bought it in 2018 and has used it to sleep in it while at festivals. The side door is slightly rusty and the handle is loose but overall the bodywork is in good condition with a solid structure and no rot on the chassis. The van has lots of potential.
