Steve is a fascinating, engaging speaker with phenomenal knowledge and experience. He has a genuine, human connection with his audience and, regardless of the number, makes one feel like he is speaking directly to you. His talks, while dealing with some potentially disturbing content, are delivered in a way that avoids upset or sensationalism yet is entertaining and appropriately humorous. In addition, there is a level of academic quality underpinning the content, which, while keeping it understandable for non-academics, ensures that it appeals to experienced professionals. I would not hesitate to recommend any of Steve's events.

I joined Steve for his "Dining with a Detective" event in Norwich and boy what a night. I could have sat for hours listening to Steve re-tell stories from his policing days, the cases he worked on, and giving us background info on those cases about serial killers in the UK that we have all heard of but never really knew the gravity behind them. Brilliant evening, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I am a psychology undergraduate. I attended Steve’s talk last night at the Louis Marchesi about “the dark side of a serial killer”. It was absolutely fascinating from start to finish. The amount of information provided by Steve in the 2 hours we were there was impressive. His delivery was so engaging and he was entertaining in an appropriate way for the topic. Left feeling really inspired and I will certainly be attending more of Steve’s events in the future. Thoroughly recommend for something a little different to do if you are interested in true crime and or psychology.
