Mapei Primer G 2 x 5 kg Water-Based Resin Primer - Tiling, Plastering, Wall Prep
Plymouth, Devon
£30
Description
Save money on a nearly full 2 tubs x 5 kg set – ideal for tiling, plastering, levelling or prepping walls.
I am selling these two 5 kg (9.8 litres) tubs of Mapei Primer G, purchased in June 2025. I only used around 200ml to test it, so they are basically full (9.6 litres remaining) and in excellent condition. As a new DIYer, I realised it wasn’t the right product for my project and I bought more than I needed. I paid nearly £60 for both tubs, so I am letting them go at half price.
This is a high-quality professional resin-based primer, perfect for a range of jobs:
Applications:
For ceramic tiles on gypsum.
For gypsum plaster basecoat (anchoring coat) – dilute 1 part primer G with 2 parts water.
Before pouring self-levelling compounds - cement substrates: dilute 1:1 with water, and gypsum substrates: apply undiluted.
As a primer before wallpapering, dilute 1 part primer G with 3 parts water.
Between smoothing layers – dilute 1:1 with water.
