Agreed price same day at visit within 1 hour of posting. Tree felled same day, fine so far. On completion of work 20% VAT added and he refused to leave until bank transfer appeared on his phone. When Bark was mentioned he had no knowledge of it!

Came in at short notice, cleared all our garden waste and removed a fallen tree. Pleasant and worked quickly.

Negotiated a high price to remove one tree then added VAT on completion! Turned up same day and would not leave until bank transfer payment showed on his phone, then promised a receipt by email, still waiting! Then said he had not heard of Bark!!! Be careful with this one.

Guys showed up after an hour of phone call, negotiated a deal with me. Brought their tools out to start the job, they then jumped back in their van saying they would be back in a minute and never bothered coming back. Really unprofessional. I had to phone them after an hour to ask if they were coming back to which he replied nah, it was too big a job and hung up on me. Really disappointing.

Job - removing dead ivy from side of building. Cost £350.00 after trying to negotiate better price. They said job was tricky and could take more than one day possibly two. Actual time spent on job 1 hour 40 minutes.
POSITIVES - Came quickly to do job and very friendly. Sawed off tree branch for me which wasn't part of the job as a gesture of good will.
NEGATIVES - Advised them of cables running up side of the building, later discovered they had accidentally cut through neighbours phone/broadband line and didn't come back to offer apology to my neighbour after two phone calls, the neighbours were furious. This was obviously an accident but how they responded made this a big negative. They left a broken large green metal rake under neighbours car (I didn't notice this till later) and trampled over one of my large agapanthus plants ruining it, I had asked them to be careful around it. Left an awful lot of debris and leaves in street which I then spent over an hour clearing up.
The negatives have put me off using again.
