Rare book printed and published by brightly and childs - Bungay 124 plates 1815
Note INTRODUCTION, THE CONTENT PLATES & HAND WRITTEN INDEX ONLY.
While the inside cover information states it is volume one, I have been informed by an expert that this book has been put together from originals of volumes 1 & 2, approximately over 100 years ago. It seems this was done to preserve the plates.
Interior is in pretty good condition considering its over 200 years old. All plates are undamaged with the colours also still great. There is foxing throughout and some wear on various pages but none which affects the actual plates themselves.
The cover has aging wear with the spine being secured with paper taping. However, the pages are still in tact and not loose etc.
Overall there should be around 155 plates for both volumes so some 30 plates are not within this book.
Comes from a smoke free home.
