SIGNED first edition hardback copy of Jarvis Cockers book, ‘ Mother, Brother, Lover Selected verses. 2011. In excellent condition. Signed to title page by Jarvis and inscribed ‘ This Is Hardback’ a reference to the Pulp album This Is Hardcore’ Includes two tickets for event at Manchester Town Hall in 2011 where book was signed. Collectable item.
In 2011, Jarvis Cocker participated in the Manchester Literature Festival, which included an onstage interview at Manchester Town Hall's Great Hall. The event, part of Dave Haslam's "Close Up" series, coincided with the publication of Cocker's book, "Mother, Brother, Lover: Selected Lyrics". The interview was intimate, despite being in the large hall, and Cocker discussed his lyrics, Morrissey, and the impact of university funding changes.
