Description
A 254 page vintage hardback 'The Consul At Sunset' by Gerald Hanley and published by the Reprint Society Ltd in 1952.
There is no dustjacket, the hardcover is mottled and shows signs of wear.
There is some discolouration to the outer edges of the pages and more or less uniform foxing (discolouration due to age) to the pages themselves but this does not interfere with the reading of the text.
For a book of this age (being 73 years old) I would consider it to be in acceptable condition.
It is important to look at the photographs for any marks appropriate for the use and age of the book which should be considered as part of the books description.
