A 320 page hardback copy of 'The Quiet Gentleman' by Georgette Heyer.
Issued in 1953 for members of the Companion Book Club there is minimal 'foxing' (discolouration of the pages due to age) and what there is does not interfere with the legibility of the text.
This is a well used book with marks to the cover, signs of wear/age (especially to the outer edges of the pages) and is even 'skewed' slightly - see photograph 5.
For me all this simply adds to the attraction/enjoyment of the book which is now 72 years old.
