Tohatsu 9.8hp 2/ engine long shaft
Used in fairly good condition.
Long shaft with tilt, forward and reverse.
We have only used this engine in fresh water and only used Shell or BP fuel with a good quality 2/ oil. The mix was always correct.
The fuel can was brand new when I got it 5 years ago before lockdown and fitted the fuel connector to suit the engine.
It has been in the shed since 2019 and started second pull. I think the smoke was me running it before warming up and also the level of the water being below the exhaust.
There is no fuel left as I’m only testing the engine so you will need to get more.
We were on Loch Lomond when the boat engine struck a submerged boulder and almost ripped the transom completely off. Good job it was chained to the boat. Therefore there is a sizeable dink in the chassis to show this.
I am selling the boat separate as a “Sniper 10ft unsinkable dory hull” on eBay and FB Gumtree too so you could pick up both together if the highest bidder.
What you get; the engine, fuel line, 25L plastic fuel tank.
