Classic style 9ft sailing dinghy - final reduction

Description

A classic simulated clinker design built by the late Roddy Wilson, who ran Wyche Marine at Dell Quay, Chichester for decades.
About 8 years ago Roddy created a mold from a tender used with a McClean Class 2A Lifeboat in the early part of last century. He went on to build two GRP-hulled examples of this lovely dinghy, adding a simple gaff sloop rig with bowsprit and a pivoting centreplate, resulting in a charming 9ft sailing dinghy with classic lines, ideal for pottering around the harbour.
The first of these boats was sold several years ago, this is the second example which has stayed in the family until now.
The hull is GRP with hardwood trim. It has a lifting rudder, an aluminium mast with wooden spars, and stainless-steel stays. It comes with oars, anchor, sail-bags and launching trolley.
The dinghy has only been lightly used and looks almost new, as can be seen from the photos.
Dimensions are;
Length over deck: 2.82m (9’3”) (detachable bowsprit add 0.42m (1’ 5”))
Beam: 1.28m (4’2”)

Price has been significantly reduced to encourage a quick sale - I’ll take it off the market if it doesn’t go at this bargain price
